Changelog - 5.4.18.14

Events

  • “Post Revenue” option – From the Event Builder → Payment Tab, there is a new option for “Post Revenue” in addition to the existing “Close Event” functionality. This is a managed role feature in Setting →Manage Roles →Action →Edit Permissions → Event Manager →Post Revenue.
      • When “Post Revenue” is selected, any Items that are listed in the Menu and Add Ons tabs of the Event will be posted as Revenue and be reflected in Reports. Once all of the charges are confirmed and finalized, Users can then select the Close Event button, which will finalize and lock the Event from being edited.
  • Event Statuses – In the Event Details tab of the Event Builder, there are new options for “Confirmation Status”. These include “Proposed”, “Tentative”, and “Confirmed”. These Statuses will have different colors on the Event Calendar, making it easier to identify which Events are actually confirmed.
  • Event Times on Event Calendar – The Start Time of every Event now shows on the Event Calendar
  • Instructions for Timeline Items – When adding Instructions to a Timeline Item from the Timeline tab of the Event Builder, the only Instructions that appear will be the Event-specific Instructions that are set in Settings → Event Settings
    • When Instructions are added to a Timeline Item, that Department of Instructions will be displayed, so that it is easy for Users to identify which Departments have already been added to the Instructions for a given Timeline Item
  • Option to Print the Floor Plan from the Event Builder
  • Display Order for Department Instructions by Event Type – Can now change the order in which the Departments for Instructions show
  • Set Up and Tear down Blocks for Venues – When adding a Venue in Settings → Venue Center, you can establish Set Up and Tear Down times for each Venue. When a Venue is added to an Event, these Set Up and Tear Down times will automatically be blocked off in the Venue Manager Module.
  • “Re-Open Event” – New button on the Payment Tab in the Event Builder. If an Event has already been Closed, and there is a need to add additional charges to the Event, Users can select the Re-Open Event button. This will allow Event Charges from the Register to be added to the Event
